1I am So so so sorry for all your losses, I am a certified permaculturist and HEMP cultivator weather or NOT my efforts are yet accepted or recognized by our criminal government. I know used as a Biofuel Hemp offers an alternatve to these types of disasters. Hemp benefits the Soil and the Oxygen like no other plant.. I am suggesting all those fishermen become Hemp cultivators.. Relocation to closed military bases permaculturists could, and I feel should; be working to make ready NOW. Let the Oil refugees select which state/Base they want to relocate to. Alemeda point collaborative is a successful model of a redone base that now houses 800 plus formerly homeless familys, 400 MORE than started with in 2003, working w/ploughshares they are growing crops and turning profit.. Add HEMP to that mix and you have Sustainable…

2I would gladly relocate. I have no car. I have 14 birds, 2 chickens 5 cats and a hermit crab. PLus 2 pond goldfish. I am in a gulf coast town Iknowit’s toxic, the air, the water, everything. No one is getting us out. I would relocate to the base given even so much as a shed wth a bathroom and a little fenced n area for the hens. I am on disability so I cannot relocate without help. Yet, I don’t see that help coming.
