Is The Fed Immoral In Nature?

Writers are claiming that Americans are “Furious at the Fed”. This is probably just another populist fad and the people are headhunting because of the economy. But what if Ron Paul is right about all this? What if this is more than populist anger?

And what if the skeptics are right? What if the Federal Reserve Bank created in 1913, is the real problem? Should any agency control the country’s financial gateway without any checks and balances? Policies made in secrecy cannot be democratic and they rarely represent the common people. The central bank was designed for the elitists to gain full control of the country’s finances. This encourages government to spend wastefully and fund unnecessary wars.

And why shouldn’t we question the Fed’s existence and its ultimate role in making decisions and policies? The United States hasn’t seen such financial hardships since the Great Depression. It seems that democracy itself is at stake here. Ron Paul may not have all the answers, but no matter how unpopular his ideology is, he is certainly getting to the heart of the matter. Americans are finally looking beyond the symptoms; they want to know the root of the problem.

Americans may not all be born economists, but they desperately sense that something is very wrong, as unemployment is hitting excruciating levels and hitting all walks of life. This severe recession is not the normal slowdown; this one has a severe bite that is far-reaching and long-lasting. This crisis has many heads turning, even the well-educated economists.

The current mess that America faces has shocked the citizens. The bailouts, high unemployment, regime uncertainty, falling stock prices, the market meltdown, all have shaken the foundation of the country to the core. The American people are fuming, and they have every right to.

The sense of frustration is pervasive. The market power players are getting the bailout monies, while many families are losing jobs and even their homes. The general consensus is that government is too big, too bloated, it is not working, and President Obama is not meeting the people’s needs. Citizens are demanding real change and not just another rhetoric situation as was displayed on television the other night. That will no longer do.
