Simplu was founded in 2000, when two rival bands – “Mesaj Nou” (Pitesti) and “Extreme” (Bucuresti) – met. Name of the band is an abbreviation from Simplu (simple) – Idei (Ideas) – Munca (Work) – Putere (Power) – Lupta (Battle), a true motto for the members: Taz, Omu Negru, Smiley, Piticu, Francezu and C.R.B.L. – 6 boys full of life, bright, experts in break dance.
