Obama Administration Dictates Who Covers The News

The media is rallying around Fox News because of recent developments. The White House has made an all out effort to exclude Fox News from the Pay Czar Interview. Should the White House blatantly disregard the freedom of the press?

Isn’t it a contradiction to promote democratic ideas around the world, and then try to censor a conference? Censorship is the term used when speech, or any type of communication is suppressed, as the material distributed may be sensitive or damaging to the government.

Can you say Hugo Chávez? Is this the utilization of propaganda to promote a political doctrine? Say it isn’t so!

The fact is, that both parties have been guilty of favoring media that supports political agenda. This is politics 101. But hasn’t this methodology become flagrant?

Haven’t we learned our lessons from the recent past? Isn’t it the duty of the press to investigate the rationale behind any decision that will ultimately have an effect on the lives of thousands?

Can America afford to ignore the application of censorship and its repercussion? All networks should unite to strengthen all aspects of transparency in government, and government should welcome the criticism.
