Where The Stars Still Collide!
What is a star party? That depends. Are we talking Hollywood events or astronomy events?
If you’re looking for culture, fashion, world affairs, society, designers, models, and photos, you might go to Oscarland. You might need an ultimate guide to seeing stars. The admission at one of these events could get expensive.
These stars are usually found in Hollywood. If you happen to be in Los Angeles, on Hollywood Boulevard, or Vine Street, you would see over 2000 five-pointed stars buried in the sidewalk. This is called the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
There are also astronomy bashes, or “star parties“. These are events consisting of dozens, or possibly hundreds of star seekers. These stars are found in the heavens.
But wait, if you happen to be in Los Angeles, free public star parties are held monthly at the Los Angeles Astronomical Society.
Or, you could take a trip on over to the Griffith Observatory, and maybe attend a star party. The admission is usually free here.
These type of enthusiasts are armed with telescopes, but you won’t necessarily need one, since more than one of the guests will have one. In fact, there may be a hundred telescopes at the bash. Most astronomers will share their view of the beautiful stars.
